You can rent a car from our company with full insurance, free kilometers, no deposit, and no credit card required. You can pay in cash, by bank card, or via bank transfer. Upon arrival, when we prepare the contract and receive the car, you can pay in cash or with a bank card (Visa, Maestro, MasterCard, American Express, Revolut). All customers can pay with any bank card they own without any issues.

AGE REQUIREMENTS
• The minimum age for drivers is 20 years for car category B, with a minimum one years of driving experience.
• We do not verify the driver’s age at the time of booking. However, if the driver does not meet the age requirements at the rental counter, they will not be able to pick up the car.
• No additional fees for young or senior drivers.
• The maximum rental age is 75 years.
DRIVER’S LICENSE
• The renter and any additional drivers must be aged 20 to 75 years.
• Drivers must hold a valid driver’s license for at least one year.
• We accept National Driving Licenses issued in the EU, US, UK, Switzerland, Australia, Canada, Israel, Russia, and Ukraine.
• An International Driving License is required for all other countries.
TRAFFIC VIOLATIONS, FINES, AND ADMINISTRATIVE SANCTIONS
• The renter is fully responsible for any traffic violations or administrative sanctions incurred during the rental period.
• If any fine is not reported at the end of the contract, the renter will be charged accordingly.
MILEAGE POLICY
• Unlimited mileage is included in our rates.
TAXES
• Our rates include 24% VAT (Value Added Tax).
ADDITIONAL DRIVERS
• Up to 3 additional drivers can be added free of charge.
ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE
• 24/7 roadside assistance is available free of charge at: +306943078037 and +306995337099 (for international calls).
CAR MODEL SELECTION
• Bookings are made for a car group, which includes several models with similar features.
• You may request a specific model after booking confirmation, and we will do our best to provide it if available on the pickup day.
• If the booked car is unavailable, we will upgrade you to a higher category at no extra cost.
CAR REPLACEMENT
• In case of an accident or breakdown leading to immobilization, we will replace your vehicle immediately upon reporting the issue.
• We reserve the right to investigate the cause of the incident and may deny a replacement if the terms & conditions were violated.
CHILD SEATS
• We provide three types of child seats (Infant Seat, Baby Seat, and Booster Seat) free of charge.
FLIGHT DELAYS
• Our team tracks your flight arrival times and any last-minute schedule changes to ensure we are there upon arrival.
MODERN & SAFE VEHICLES
• GO CAR CHANIA RENTAL guarantees well-maintained, safe, and serviced vehicles.
FUEL POLICY
• The renter must return the car with the same fuel level as received.
• No refunds are given for excess fuel upon return.
INSURANCE DETAILS
- Full insurance coverage includes:
• Glass, car body, windows, theft, fire, parking lot scratches, and engine failure if another car collides with you. In this case, you pay nothing. - Health insurance covers you and all passengers in the vehicle. It provides full compensation for any medical expenses.
- Third-party liability insurance:
• If you are responsible for an accident, the insurance covers all compensation up to €1,500,000.
• If you are not responsible, the insurance covers all medical costs, including extended stays in Crete or repatriation. - Exclusions from insurance coverage:
• If the driver was under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the time of an accident.
• If the driver violates traffic signals, drives recklessly, or ignores stop signs.
• In these cases, the renter will pay €300 for car repair costs, while the insurance company covers damages to the other vehicle.
LOST KEYS
• The renter is responsible for all costs associated with replacing lost or damaged keys, including any costs incurred for retrieving locked-in keys.
TIRE DAMAGE
• Repairable tire punctures can be fixed by the renter, and we will reimburse the cost.
• Completely damaged tires are not covered by insurance.

• You can cancel your booking after confirmation by contacting us via WhatsApp: +306943078037 and +306995337099.
VEHICLE DELIVERY & COLLECTION
• We deliver and collect cars at all supported locations in our booking system, including airports, ports, and selected hotels.
• For locations not listed, please contact us in advance.
FERRY & CROSS-BORDER RENTALS
• Ferrying the car off Crete is strictly prohibited.
• All insurance coverage will be voided if the vehicle is taken off Crete, and the renter will be fully liable for any damages.
RENTAL EXTENSION
• If you wish to extend your rental after picking up the car, you must contact us in advance to check availability.
• We reserve the right to deny an extension if the car is already booked.
• Returning the car later than the agreed time without prior approval will void your insurance coverage.
ACCIDENTS
• In case of an accident, the renter must contact us immediately via our 24/7 helpline: +306943078037 and +306995337099 for further instructions.
• It is prohibited to leave the accident scene without reporting it.
• If you cannot reach us, you must contact the police immediately.
• If the other party involved in the accident leaves the scene, take a photo or note their license plate number.
• Driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or violating traffic rules is strictly prohibited, and the renter will be fully liable for any resulting damages.
PROPER USE OF THE VEHICLE
• Insurance and coverage are valid only if the renter complies with all terms & conditions.
• The renter is responsible for any damages caused by driving on unauthorized, unpaved, dirt, or off-road areas (e.g., Balos Beach).
• The renter is also liable for damages resulting from:
• Violations of traffic laws (e.g., running a stop sign, speeding, illegal U-turns).
• Distracted driving, misjudging turns, or veering off the road.
• Parking violations.
• Participating in races, speed tests, rallies, or using the car for taxi/courier services.
• Allowing an unauthorized driver to operate the vehicle.
• Intentional or reckless damage, such as door damage due to strong winds, damage to the clutch/gearbox, or interior damage.
